Now that's my public professional side, let's talk about my passion project:

The Legacy of Kindness Project I was recently invited to introduce Creative Writing to a local private school. Working in collaboration with their teaching staff and the Director, we are developing what we hope to become a wide-reaching creative community awareness project. Here’s our concept and implementation plan: • Weekly acts of kindness to be performed by each student (acts they, themselves come up with - with a little guidance if necessary) • Student weekly exercises include writing and illustrating their experiences - Their story elements to include Who, What, When, Where, and Why. - as well as their personal observation of the recipients' reactions and feelings, and their own feelings. (How did you feel when you ....?) • Each student will choose one act of kindness they performed over the course of the first 4 weeks to be included in a published anthology...written and illustrated by each student. The book will be published on the Amazon platform. • As part of the project, each student will be provided a number of business-size cards identifying their "Act of Kindness". They will be encouraged to pass the cards to family and friends urging them to "follow their lead" and do the same. (The cards will each have a QR code taking them to a download screen to download our proprietary mobile app. In addition, there will be a tracking code number (unique to each student) on each card, that once keyed into the app will open a screen to record the “act of kindness” of that individual, and to track what others before them have done. - the app is capable of tracking each group of student cards separately, so that each student can see how their “1 Act of Kindness” has spread throughout the community.
